Healthy Fats and Oils in the Diet

Beyond the issues of acid vs alkaline, GMO vs organic and/or processed vs raw lies the lesser-known (but equally important) issue of the types of oils and fats use in cooking and daily diet. For the past few decades, Americans have been told by the medical establishment to avoid saturated fats. Further more, artificial butters and margarines were promoted as healthier options. These myths, based on science that has been proven incorrect many times since, have been a central contributor to chronic diseases of all types, both mental and physical.

In this class, you will learn the basic chemical structure of all types of fat and oil molecules (including essential oils). We will discuss ancient methods of using oils to reverse chronic diseases and you will be able to taste the Budwig recipe, which is a recipe that includes both fat and oil and has an excellent reputation of helping to reverse chronic diseases of all types. Learn about low-carb and ketogenic trends in diets, and how to make the best of the fats and oils in your diet!
